Carbon Fiber Fairings

Carbon Fiber Fairing History

In 1996, Karl Abby and Gardner Martin made the first Super Zzipper faring out of carbon fiber and that fairing was made for none other than Fast Freddy Markham. Fast Freddy put thousands of test miles on those fairings with no problems. They were difficult to make, but there was no denying the performance and good looks it provided. The fairings light weight and rigid construction is perfect for body socked bicycles. This fairing can save you a couple pounds compared to some other types of fairings.

These fairings easily fit on any Easy Racer bike and many other types as well. Between the FFM body sock scaffold and a Standard fairing you could shed 3 pounds or more off your bike!

The Double Bubble DB fairing Story

As much as Fast Freddy loved the new carbon fiber fairing, there were some things he thought might make a better and more aero fairing. The new DB fairings use lightweight state of the art sport bike windscreens and machined aluminum fasteners and the great color graphics make them look awesome. The Supper Zipper fairings are already some of the most efficient fairings on the road, and the new DB fairings are probably the closest thing most people will come to being inside the original Gold Rush racer. The way the body socks attach make viewing your speedometer and heart rate monitor possible. You are able to lean forward and duck down lower becoming more aerodynamic and speeds should increase.

What customers have to say:

"I too have one of these light weight fairings and honestly, when I got the box in the mail, I thought it was empty. It doesn't weigh anything! AMAZING fairing!!!!"

"This fairing is just amazingly light! The cardboard box that it came packed in was heavier than the fairing itself. It's also dead silent on bumps. And trust me, we've got plenty of bumps on NYC streets. And unlike some other carbon fairings I've seen, it can be rolled up to a small tube for shipping, or for carying in a car when the bike is on the roof rack."

"This fairing is just beautiful. Pictures don't do it justice."
