Why an Easy Racer?

These are the bicycles that let you ride in a natural sitting position, without twisting your spine, without straining your neck, with no undue pressure on wrists or crotch. These are the bicycles that allow you to ride in style and comfort while attaining remarkable speed. Easy Racers, the acknowledged leader in recumbent bicycles, was started by Gardner Martin, designer of comfortable, practical, road bikes and of the Gold Rush, the first streamlined bicycle to break 65 MPH! But don't take our word for it; see what others are saying about our bikes. From cross-country touring to daily commuting to world speed records Easy Racers has been the leader in recumbent design for over 26 years. We want to help you learn about Easy Racers and our bikes. If you want more information, just let us know and we'll send you a free info pack.

THE EASY RACER PURCHASE PROGRAM

Easy Racers is served by a nationwide network of reputable dealers. We always urge people who are interested in purchasing a new bike to visit one of these dealers for personalized attention. Dealers can help with sizing, options, color choices, and accessories as well as answer most of your questions one on one.

For some people getting to a dealer is just not possible for a number of reasons and because of that we offer the EASY RACER PURCHASE PROGRAM. When it comes to selling Easy Racer bikes, we do a pretty good job around here. We can walk you through the whole process, size you, answer your tough questions, and customize your order with different component packages and custom color schemes. If you haven’t convinced yourself you need an Easy Racer bike, Fast Freddy Markham is usually available and has answers to any questions you could possibly have about Easy Racer bikes and how to set them up, but remember all of our sales people are knowledgeable and passionate about what we do here.

We are so sure that you’ll enjoy your Easy Racer bicycle, we’re giving you 30 days to try it out and be satisfied. If for some reason it doesn’t work out just send it back for a refund. Our bikes are fully assembled and fine tuned in the factory. They are shipped in two boxes. One box contains the frameset and the other box contains the seat and wheels. Our bikes can be up and running in as little as 15 minutes. All you do is insert the handlebar stem into the headset and tighten; we even include the tools, (cables are already tuned up), put the seat, wheels and pedals on and your good to go. For those who are mechanically challenged, we include all the instructions and directions and a video showing all the steps. It’s EASY!

Freddy's dealer sales pitch.

The Easy Racers recumbents have been successfully race proven since 1978, setting 19 world records in all kinds of different events from top speed to twisty road races. These long wheelbase bikes, built in the USA, have been the choice of numerous recumbent riders for many years. Nine frame sizes accommodate riders from 5’0” to 6’6”, making each bike as a custom fit. The Tour Easy, Gold Rush and Ti Rush are available in the Speed and Sport or Expedition models. The Speed and Sport version has narrower tires and a 20’ (451mm) front wheel and normal road bike gearing. The Expedition model comes with fatter tires and a 20” (406mm) front wheel and mountain bike gearing. The handle bars are cleverly designed to serve as fairing supports making the Easy Racer fairings easy to install and less expensive than other fairings. And fairings really make this bike fly. Order a body sock and it’s a rocket ship!
