Longer Handlebars???

Hello! I have had my EZ-1 SC for about a year and really like it. Im 6'2" and I think Im pushing the upper limits for the reach of the bars. I would like to lower the bars about an inch and move the seat back another inch. If I do this I cant reach the bars comfortably and would knock my wrists with my knees. I was just wondering if there was anyone else who had this problem and what you may have done. I know I should have done more research in the sizing aspect but I was blinded by the prospect of getting relief from a back problem while riding. It looked good at the time. Thanks! (I still like the bike!)

You may want to replace your stem with an adjustable stem such as a Kalroy (see attached). They come in a variety of lengths. I installed this 100mm offset on me TE and it made a world of difference. I shifted my handlebars back and lifted them so I no longer whack them with my knees when I turn. I now pivot my handlebars rather than swing them as I was before the change.

THANK YOU! I will be checking out the adjustable stem. That sounds like a much cheaper option than buying a new bike... (Not that buying a new bike is a bad thing!)
