Tag-a-long Trike to a delta trike?

Hi fellow 'bent riders

I am new to the 'bent world. I recently got a EZ-3, I absolutely love it. Although not built for speed my average is about 10 miles an hour, although I have had it up to 22 so far. So much fun.

I bike with my daughter (4.5) which is actually why I got the trike, can jump off to help her w/o having to deal with balancing issues or kickstands.

What I am wondering if anyone knows of any way to hook up a tag-a-long trike to it? Not a recumbent tag-a-long, just a regular tag-a-long, with 2 back wheels. Usually these tag-a-longs hook to the DF seat post, but obviously I don't have a seat post per se. Is there a way I could hook it to my rack or something? Or am I going to have to get some metal shop to help me? Has anyone done this before?

Also, can I hook a regular trailer up to a delta trike or do I need some kind of special skewer?

Thanks in advance.

Talking update

I went to ace hardware (Holly St, Denver) and one of the nicest salesmen (Chuck) I ever met helped me. We discussed what I needed, then I went home to get the trike. By the time I got back with bike and parts, he had already found something that would work. I will post more info in the future (along with pics) but it works.

Now I can either tow my daughter in her tailer or use her tag-a-long trike or the aligator tow bar. I am so excited.

If anyone wants further info, please feel free to email me.

I would be interested in seeing some photos of how you hooked it up.

I've been thinking of getting one of those trailers and converting it for utility purposes rather than kid towing. but could never figure out how I'd hook it up to my EZ3

A little more detail can be seen here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/henryw...57600857613896/

I've pulled a Trailer bike with this, a TrailGator, and an old Pacdog utility trailer with it.

At first I used the aluminum angle to attach it to the rack. Later I drilled holes through the rack and adapter and attached it with 1/4 20 screws and wing nuts.

I eventually had a failure with the wing nut design. The top of the rack pulled loose from the frame of the rack. But this took a 40lb kid on a 25lb bike who was pedaling quite a bit.

If I had it to do over again. I'd probably incorporate both the wingnut design and the aluminum angles.

Thankfully I'm done with tag-alongs. My daughter just got her first real bike a 6spd 20" Trek mountain bike.

In the future I will probably use this method with my Pacdog trailer. Or I might just spring for a BOB or Burley Cargo trailer.
