My Ultimate Ride

Well, I give up. I tried to find a better bicycle than a Gold Rush for me to ride into the sunset (76 years and counting) but I failed miserably. There was something I didn't like about every bike/trike I looked at.

I ordered another Gold Rush from Denton today. He was very accomodating, especially since he shouldn't even have been there (closed Mondays). It ought to show up here in about two weeks.

Looks like I'm back in the family!

Dick: It takes a wise man to admit that what he had earlier was the right choice, and you tried other options. Glad your back in the fold.--george

Don't know about the wise part, George, but certainly eager.

At least for me, there are two bicycles on the planet, the GRR (or other Easy Racers) and all others. Glad you reached a similar conclusion. Welcome back.

Thanks, Bill, just following the GRR's progress through the factory like waiting for a new baby's birth.

Hey Dick, Let us see the new arrival when it comes. I just bought a 2012 GRR also. Denton has added a welded platform for the twin kickstand. I would recommend it. My old TE was always following over in the high wind.

Keith, I've always been satisfied with the plain vanilla single kickstand, but I know I'm in the minority. I will absolutely have a photo shoot with the new baby!
