H-Bars

Fred,
When climbing I like to push my hips back and lean forward, with my hands pulling on the fairing brackets. I came across this set of bars and am curious about the hand position forward and wondered if this concept can be adapted to an Easy Racer. Is it be more comfortable and efficient to have the thumbs facing up rather than towards each other?

bar ends

I seem to recall someone mounting a set of MTB bar end grips to the ER bars below the stock grip position. They grabbed these when they wanted to lean forward and hunker down.

Thanks for the photos. I like the position of the hands and it looks like an easy thing to set up.
