Fold Rush - Former owners

I'm considering a purchase of a GRR Fold Rush and would like to hear from former owners of the FR.

I live in the mountains of Tennessee, so I always have hills and mountains to contend with.

The extra weight is a concern for me. Although not a performance rider in any way, at times I do like to go as fast as my ability will allow.

Thanks, folks.
B.

My Fold-Rush is the best climbing bent I have. I was going to retire it when my Z-Bone arrived, but the Fold-Rush won out.
The Z-Bone is faster but I am much stronger when it comes to hills on the Fold-Rush. I also have owned a Haluzak Horizon and a Radius Hornet. I do like all my bents

Dogbite - Not knowing what you ride now, the FR is a great climber. I've ridden in Tennessee and you certainly have hills and mountains to redline the heart.

I built a steel Tour Easy years ago and enjoyed the comfort but then built an Econbent to try the short wheelbase. I then tried the Rans V2 but didn't care for the higher bottom bracket. I've only had the FR about two months but it is very efficient at converting muscle power into straightline movement.

Ride as many different recumbents as possible, ask others, read & compare.
